November 2020 Updates for Power BI

Here’s an anomaly: Anomaly Detection is in Preview! That’s not the only new feature in Preview with this update either: the new Field List and Model View are also making their debuts. Power BI Service’s updates add endorsements for datasets and dataflows are extended to reports and apps, enabling business users to be confident they are making decisions based on the right data.

Here is this month’s list of updates, which seems smaller than usual (!):

  • ‘New look’ of the Power BI Service is now live


  • Power BI Automation and APIs
  • Fetch more data API 3.4
  • Enhanced testing of your developed custom visual


  • New visuals
  • Zebra BI 4.4
  • New visual by ZoomCharts: Drill Down Map PRO
  • xViz Scatter / Bubble chart.
