Power Training in December

16 November 2016

As the year works its way to a close, we’re trying to finish it off with as much power and energy as we started with.  If you weren’t aware, we’re running a brand new training course: Power Pivot, Power Query and Power BI!

This course is an extension of our existing Power of Power Pivot course.  Instead of stopping at the use of the Data Model, DAX formulae and Power Pivot’s ability to create relationships between data, we also look at how you can use Power Query (or Get and Transform in the latest version of Excel) to import data into Excel and the Data Model from a much wider range of sources and see how you can clean and transform your data as it comes into Excel.  We then take it up a notch and move away from Excel itself and into Power BI, which takes the best of Power Query and Power Pivot and elevates it into an intuitive, easy-to-use reporting and dashboard tool, which just happens to come with some powerful analytics available as well.

We’re running this in Sydney from Monday 12 December to Wednesday 14 December, so if you’re not on leave yet, why not get in touch at training@sumproduct.com and see if this is the right course for you?  We’re also running a follow-up session in Melbourne in February next year, so if you miss out in Sydney or can’t travel here, there’s still an opportunity to get on board.  Looking forward to hearing from you!
